Yesterday I tried out my new Akua inks and sturdier Stonehenge paper. The ink is water-based but high-quality and permanent. After a bit of experimenting, I figured out that it prints best on damp paper. I can't wait for the ink to dry so I can hand-color this image with watercolors.

I love especially your "Tree Hollow" illustration, I feel so many things looking at it. Definitively a sense of being one with nature and the special companionship of brother and sister!
If you haven't seen it yet, we recently hosted a little contest with the theme "Your Childhood in the Forest". I think it's a good place to get to know some of our members and read what the forest means to them: Your Childhood in the Forest
